GitHub connection is the fastest way to build useful OpenStar Memory.

OpenStar uses GitHub authorization to read public profile context, public starred repositories, and public repositories. These signals help the app understand languages, topics, frameworks, tools, and repos already known to the user.

Public-signal first

The beta focuses on public repository workflows. Private repo support belongs to future Team, Enterprise, and self-host work.

Starred and owned repos are not treated as new discovery.
