Product scope
OpenStar helps developers discover, understand, and track open-source repositories with AI-assisted summaries.
OpenStar is independent and is not affiliated with GitHub.
Repo cards and chat answers are generated from public repository metadata and available sources.
Safety boundaries
OpenStar does not execute unfamiliar repository code.
OpenStar does not automatically clone repos, install dependencies, create pull requests, or operate private repos in the MVP.
AI summaries can be incomplete; verify repository details before using code in production.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use repository information, third-party code, AI provider keys, and GitHub authorization. Do not use OpenStar to violate repository licenses, GitHub terms, or third-party provider terms.
BYOK providers
API keys
Bring-your-own-key settings are for calling your selected AI provider.
OpenStar does not sell model credits in the MVP.
Provider availability, model behavior, pricing, and rate limits are controlled by the provider.
Availability
The MVP may change quickly during TestFlight. Features can be modified, limited, or removed as the product learns from seed users.

You can delete your account from Me / Privacy & Data. If you cannot access the app, use Support to request deletion help.
